What is the Kingdom Jesus Christ was talking about? Are we at the beginning of it? or is it already in developments? Is it a country or region? Maybe it is more a spiritual realm and involves each human being?
It is difficult to understand what Jesus really means about the coming Kingdom? He uses parables to describe the place.
“The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” Luke 17:20-21
Jews believe that Jesus will return for Rosh Hashanah and he will blow the trumpet to begin the Millennial Kingdom. Does it mean that for the Feast of Trumpets, the Kingdom would be set-up in Israel?
Certain countries indeed plays a major role in the messianic story. Poland for instance is called the Christ of Europe due to its difficult history. Does it mean that Poland would become the Millennial Kingdom?
Or Great Britain and King Arthur portrayed as the messiah that one day would return to save his people? One would argue that if Jesus was the Son of God he was also a pharaoh,
does it mean that He would return to Egypt as king?
To fulfil all prophecies Jesus indeed would join Rosh Hashanah and travel around Europe. However from broader perspective having so many associations at different places it would be difficult to choose one country over another for the Millennial Kingdom.
“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,” Daniel 2:4
We also hear in Bible that there will be New Earth and New Heaven. From the perspective of the journey author has taken upon, we might say that the Kingdom will be given to Mother Mary. She will guide her shepherds and flock to complete unity, peace and prosperity on Earth.
We will become part of the connection between our universe, which is the New Heaven and gain the big picture on the New Earth. Financial and political borders will not play an issue anymore, but people will be united to alleviate poverty and create better future for everybody.
That sounds like the Jesus dream.
“And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.” Zechariah 14:9
“And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.” Daniel 7:27
The Kingdom will be given to the Saints of the Most High God, which has to mean that God is working through his prophets and messiah Jesus Christ and his church.
It must be certain frequency of work that saints are developing though their life in righteousness. Thus it involves prayer and meditation to achieve feeling of joy and spiritual satisfaction expressed in art, life and relationships.
“The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.” Psalm 103:19
