Chapter 9: Sea of Galilee

Chapter 9: Capernaum and Sea of Galilee

…meeting new friends and checking out sights…

…who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?…

I left Tel Aviv and decided to travel to the Sea of Galilee following Jesus Christ. I stayed in a very calm hostel in Tiberias. It was the David Hostel that I recommend to everybody. You can find it out on Facebook. I have met there a German couple and landlord David. We had spent a very nice evening together and the next day I was happy to visit Capernaum. I did not have good feelings at the sight. Like I had the feeling it was part of a dispute between Muslims and Jewish people, but I do not know. I loved the feeling of the lake and meeting some Jewish boys on the way that to me stopped in time 2000 years ago. It was a place, where I mostly felt the presence of Jesus and apostles.

“I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for Him, as one grieves for his firstborn.” (Zechariah 12:10)
